The client at Luton Airport needed a retail unit shell and core stripped out to make way for a new retailer to move in.
The scope of works included a strip out of all M&E and removal of furniture, fixtures and fittings. Once completed, the next task was to carry out works to make good of walls, floors and ceilings, so that the next retailer had a blank slate with which to fit their unit.
Also included was a strip-out of the back-of-house areas to get them back in line with other retailers and get them ready for use by the new tenant.
The retailer in situ was an Italy-based organisation, however LPL were able to complete their works flawlessly in collaboration with the remote client.
LPL managed to undertake these works seamlessly alongside the Luton Airport retail team, ensuring that trading for neighbouring retailers was not interrupted and that airport operations could continue unimpeded.
