LPL was tasked with repairing the roof of Enterprise House, primarily to address the issue of multiple leaks in the atrium roof. The project involved the removal of the existing silicone and its replacement with new, ensuring a proper seal. To ensure the effectiveness of the repair, water testing was conducted on the joints.
Although the nature of the work itself is standard practice, the unique environment in which it was carried out presented several challenges. However, the LPL team proactively found solutions to overcome these challenges, ensuring that the project followed the best practices in the industry. Throughout the process, comprehensive discussions were held to identify and mitigate any potential health and safety risks. Additionally, every effort was made to minimise disruption to the operational activities of Enterprise House, with careful consideration given to the staff and companies working within the building at Stansted Airport. The project was executed with utmost professionalism, ensuring a successful repair while maintaining a conducive working environment for all stakeholders involved.
