LPL undertook the works to the IDL seating area to remove, dispose and repositioning of existing seating and all necessary making good. The existing seating was to be replaced by a STAL seating product. The works included unloading, storage, distribution, installation and making good of seating procured by the employer inclusive of all mechanical and electrical works. LPL acted as principle contractor will be responsible for coordination of the logistics (including liaison with furniture supplier) for moving furniture out of / in to the IDL.
LPL worked within the dynamic International Departures Lounge and provided stakeholder management plus logistical support for a number of different departments; retail, terminal management, baggage, engineering and Mitie to name a few. LPL successfully installed 1000 seats, of which 400 were powered, within the compressed time frame of 8pm-4am.
